Every unit is stick-built on your property by our own crews. No modular, no shipping containers, no prefab panels.
What this means for you
Your ADU is framed wall by wall on your lot, the way a house is built, by BuildX's own crews. It is a real home, meant to last as long as the one you already live in.

Transparent pricing
No hidden fees, no surprise change orders. You know exactly what your ADU will cost before we break ground.
What this means for you
Plan prices are published on the website, and so is what those prices leave out: site work such as clearing, excavation, septic, utilities and the driveway. We price site work after evaluating your lot, and you get a fixed site work price before any construction begins.

Promises in writing
Once we break ground, your ADU is move-in ready within 100 days of the first shovel, guaranteed in writing.
What this means for you
The clock starts at the first shovel, after design, budget, selections, permitting and site prep are done. If your build is going to run longer, we tell you before we break ground and explain why. Every build also carries a 3-year warranty and an 11-month check-in.

Integrity
We say what we mean and we do what we say.
What this means for you
It applies to what we publish as much as what we build. Every article is reviewed by Buz before it goes live, every example comes from a real project or homeowner conversation, and cost figures are real ranges from our project history, not lowball numbers designed to get you on the phone.

Accountability you can verify
BuildX LLC holds Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration #208169, and our CEO holds Construction Supervisor License CS-042906.
What this means for you
Both numbers are published so you can check them in the Commonwealth's public registries before you hire anyone, including us. The registration is held by BuildX LLC and the supervisor license by Vittorio M. Artiano, Jr., as our site footer states.
