Excellent! The team at BuildX know what they are doing. Their ADU design capabilities and designs will make you rethink what’s possible for your backyard or small lot.

Buz is the most genuine person you can meet. We went to visit one of the ADU models in Plymouth and at first became very disappointed to find out that BuildX does not build in our area of Massachusetts. They still took the time to show us the ADU and answer our laundry list of questions. Then Buz said that he would share his house plans with us so that we could have a builder build the same ADU in our area. Buz set up a zoom call and was quick to respond to all of our emails and did indeed share his knowledge and plans with our builder. Please don't hesitate to contact Buz and his team as they are extremely willing to help out no matter what the situation might be. Thanks again and if BuildX starts working in our area, we will be the first to recommend them as a contractor to others.

We've worked with Buz at BuildX over the past couple months to design an ADU in the Bridgewater area that would suit my mother-in-law and give her a place close to us that she could call her own. Unfortunately her health has taken a sharp turn in recent weeks and independent living will no longer be an option. However, I did want to share my experience with BuildX even though we weren't able to break ground on the build.

From day one it never had the feel of a contractor trying to land a job or a salesman trying to close an order. Instead he worked with us as a partner trying to help us build a perfect place where my MIL could enjoy her twilight years in comfort and with the peace of mind of not having to maintain her own home and property. Buz helped us work through building code and zoning challenges, answered all our questions honestly, and was fully transparent in all of our discussions.

Even when we had to inform him that our situation had changed and the ADU would no longer be feasible, there was no pressure to continue the process. He still showed nothing but concern for our family's situation.

I would encourage anyone who's looking into building an ADU for a parent to reach out to BuildX.

BuildX's craftsmanship is outstanding. They were already building our ADU, and we decided to have them add a deck to the back of our main house and replace our mudroom door as well. Everything turned out beautifully. The quality of the work and materials is top-notch, and we were amazed at how quickly they completed the project without sacrificing attention to detail. We couldn't be happier and are looking forward to spending the rest of the summer enjoying our new outdoor space.

Buz and his team at BuildX constructed a custom, high quality, stick-built ADU right in our Plymouth MA backyard at what I would describe as virtually break-neck speed. We broke ground near the end of Dec and reached completion by April 11…remarkable because that’s in spite of one of the top 3 snowiest/stormiest winters since we built our main house here in 1994. We built a 900 sq. ft. ADU in Marshfield with BuildX, and the experience exceeded our expectations.
